First time and the Frog and not the last.

I have a yearly event in Elizabeth Indiana and my route takes me through New Albany and right next to the road that the club is on. I have been going this way for over 10 years and have never stopped in. The name is what I always wanted to know. I have clubs near me that have names that sound like strip club names. This however, didn't sound like a strip club name to me. Now that I have started going to clubs, and I was at my event last weekend, I decided to stop by to check the place out, but more importantly to find out why the name.

Apparently, the place used to be a bar/restaurant and it is located right on the river. It was once called the Frog. Makes sense of where it is located. The inside was very rustic with a lot of wood, so now the name makes sense to me.

Ok, now with the review. This place is off the main road a bit and right next to a power plant I believe. The road leading up is kinda bumpy. The whole area is mostly gravel and had a number potholes. Glad I drive an SUV. Not very well lite outside and not a lot of signage that you could see for far away.
