In and Out Quickly

Like many Bogie visits, mine started with a drop off at the Detroit Metro Airport. As I turned onto Michigan Ave. off of Merriman, I noticed three different police cars pulling drivers over in the vicinity of Bogarts and Flight Club. I note this because a few years ago, I got popped by the police after a trip to FC - fortunately I had only one beer and got away with a (relatively) low-level ticket. Michigan Ave by Bogarts and FC has a sneaky-low 40 MPH speed limit and many drivers assume the limit is 45 or 55. Be careful out there! There is always a police presence on Michigan Ave. no matter what time or day.

I arrived on a recent Saturday afternoon a little after opening at noon, and was not charged cover (normally $5). Got a domestic beer at the bar ($8, plus tip). At the opening, it appeared they had all of the ladies on shift up on stage - about 10 of them - and it was not a sterling lineup, even from a Bogarts perspective. I normally go on a weekday, and know many of the mature performers there, but did not see many familiar faces.

One of the mature ladies that I did recognize stopped by for a brief chat. I don’t mind the older gals, since I’m an older dude myself. She offered an entertaining session and off we went to the dance area in the back. $10 to the bouncer, and I received a full package GFE experience for $150.
