Fine for Virginia or if a dancer wants to play pool with you
PLACE: Small to medium size building across from the naval station. Kind of a weird vibe driving at night in what seems like the middle of nowhere, but the seclusion means your car isn't getting messed with. Parking goes around the back of the lot but the entrance faces the street. The entrance leads to a small vestibule with security. I was wanded and showed ID, which for me is unusual in Virginia. Cover was $10, I think.
Past the security room, the bar is on the right. Perhaps 10 chairs. Cocktails and spirits are available, average quality. Don't recall prices exactly but they were higher than expected.
Clockwise from the bar is the vip hallway, the entrance, a slightly raised section with pool tables, the main stage, the restrooms and a smaller stage. Maybe fifteen low chairs around the stage. Stage isn't huge but is otherwise adequate, with a functional pole. There are big screens behind the stage showing music videos. The smaller stage has a pole and is at ground level. I didn't see how it was used. Restrooms were not great but functional. Furniture was old and had obviously seen better days. I did not use the pool tables but they looked decent enough. Overall about what youd expect for an out of the way spot in Virginia Beach, but below standards for the big clubs in bugger metros.
