There is no there, there.
First of all, the Diamond is located in downtown Denver. Edgewater (the location listed in the List on this site) is a tiny municipality northwest of downtown. So no, nothing is in Edgewater, really there is nothing there. And there was nothing at the Diamond the night I went in. I was the only patron, and was told at the door that there was just one dancer present and another on her way in. This was at 7pm. In the "good old days" at 7pm there were over a dozen dancers on four stages. This place used to be the place to go after working at a downtown office or before heading over to a baseball, hockey or basketball game. There was a great "early crowd". No mas, mi amigos. No mas. I think late night this place still has it, but late night is too late for an old guy. The one dancer I saw was decent and I stuck around and tipped her while I finished my $8.00 beer. The second dancer looked to be on crank/meth/crack and was so skinny one could see all her bones. Not a good look, even if you like thin women. I stuck around for about half hour to forty five minutes hoping the night shift would arrive, but no go. Maybe I'll take a nap so I can stay up late and check things out past 11pm. But the once vaunted Diamond's happy hour/day shift treasures are gone gone gone.
