Wasted Afternoon
Stopped by on my way traveling up 293. Empty parking lot, no one was collecting cover charges at the window on the right when you walk in. I went right to a table near the stage to survey the scene. Bar is on the left as you walk in, stage is on the right. Tables are located around and in between. It was pretty dark in there. There were about 3 other guys in there, one at the stage, one at the bar, and 1 at another table talking to one of the girls. It was pretty dull in there, but what can you expect on a weekday afternoon. I was approached by 1 girl as soon as I sat down. She was petite with dark hair, 20’s. I wasn’t ready for any dances so I politely declined. She tried to chat me up a bit, but I wasn’t really interested. Once she left, the bartender came over and I ordered a $6 beer, and went to the stage. The dancer was in her 30’s, blonde, with some curves. She didn’t seem that into anything she was doing, but again it seemed slow so hard to get motivated over a few bucks. I decided to take off after that, as it was just too slow for my liking.
