LPL on a Saturday

Found myself some free time awhile back and I figured I’d check out La Pearl. Neighborhood isn’t the best but when I got there (5:30ish) parking nearby was easy to find. Paid the $10 cover to get in and got myself a $5 Guinness.

Upstairs, the Outer Space, was open but nobody was up there doing anything yet, so I mostly stayed downstairs. Only about 6 or so dancers were around and 3 were giving dances in the back. Those seats are the only ones to get dances at that offer privacy, so they’re the place to be. Apparently you can also pull a stool into the back alcove for $10 bucks to the manager. And of course, the private room, which also serves as the downstairs dancer dressing room, is available for $20 for 15 mins.

I spent some time watching Florida State get trucked by Georgia as all the dancers I was interested in were taken for several songs. Eventually I was able to get a dance from B, a skinny dancer with an enhanced top, kind of a rarity from what I know of this place.
