Saturday at onyx

Me and a friend stopped by onyx late Saturday. We got there around 2:30am. There was a nice sized line outside of the club that we had to wait in for about 10 minutes. Once we got to the front, the security guard gave a thorough pat down and checked id before letting us enter. Cover charge was $40 per person on this night.

Inside the club was nice, but it was packed so there weren’t a lot of seats available initially. After walking around for a while, we found a table and grabbed it. There were plenty of girls (30+) out on the floor, and most looked great. The majority were black but there were a couple of Latinas as well. There were a lot of nicely done fake asses/titties. No waitress ever came over to our table to take our drink orders in the short time we were there, which I didn’t really mind since I had been drinking quite a bit before arriving here. A pretty light skinned girl walked past and I got her attention and she began twerking at the table for me while I threw singles. Not much contact/milage and looking around that seemed to be a common theme. On and around the stage girls were just standing around twerking while some groups of customers would rain singles on them.

There were a lot of young female customers and they seemed to be dancing and putting on as much of a show as the dancers. There was a lively atmosphere, but it had more of a night club vibe as opposed to a strip club vibe. There was some nice eye candy out on the floor, but they didn’t seem too interested in approaching customers. We decided to call it a night after less than an hour there. Not sure I’d return to this spot next time I’m in Houston.
