I haven't been to Blue Moon in over a year and decided to swing by to see if it could bea good night. Well it wasn't.

Place: The Moon is located on Route 299 which is a straight shot into New Paltz. The main highway I-87 is nearby or if you are coming from Poughkeepsie you can take the Mid-Hudson bridge and then 9W North. It's lit up in Blue obviously so it's not hard to miss when driving down the road. On the weekend this place can get busy but the parking lot is easy enough to navigate. The door is locked to get in so someone always has to open it for you. The have a small VIP type stage by the register, and also a small bar area. Then as you go further in is the stage to your left and then scattered throughout are the VIP areas.

Price: It's $25 bucks to enter and they give you two drink tickets. Apparently they now serve alcohol here as I didn't use the ticket but it shows a list of things you can get and alcohol was included. That usually means the girls don't go full nude. But I did see one chick drop her bottoms for a bit on stage. I didn't get any lap dances but it's all done in private. They have price menus scattered around the seating area - 5 min/$25, 10 min/$45, 20 min/$100, 30 min/$135, 45 min/$165 all of this also includes tax. There is no dollar parade to speak of for better or worse. They give you funny money in exchange for singles. Never understand that part of this place but it seems to be their thing.
