Depressing.

I have not been here in a dogs age. In face since the last time I visited, the place closed down and re-opened. I was never a regular at the Dirty Bird, but it was the place where strippers went after they got fired from their home base. I'd stop by and see some of my favorites after their fall from grace.

The setup is pretty much the same that I remember in the old days, minus the little stalls that looked like showers. Went down a long hallway into a scene that lacked any energy at all. There were a few dancers and a few patrons, but for the most part no one was moving. I ordered a beer and was given back a bunch of ones from my twenty. Not sure of the exact price, but in the six dollar range. The bartender was friendly enough, but no one looked like they wanted to be there. I was looking for someone to take private, but no one was hustling. Believe me, I am not picky.

All of the sudden, I see who I think is Veronica from the 19th hole. I hadn't seen her in years and I wasn't looking to revisit. Apparently, the Raven is still a place where strippers land. The whole scene bummed me out. I was going to go to Risque, but instead just went home

I could not tell you what the dances cost, or where exactly they were for that matter. No one seemed to be trying to make anything happen.
