Late night at Playpen was so-so

Went to the club around 1:30 am since I live DTLA. $20 cover charge (typical). When you walk in, the bar is to your right (parallel with the door) with the stage in the middle left of the room. seating is seating is a U-shape around the stage. There were maybe 10-20 people in the club. Waitress came by and took my order. Water is $8 (or $10 for name brand water). Assume Red Bull is $10 too. There are booths to the right of the room, just across the stage that are the regular booths. VIP booths are along the back of the room. Most of the dancers seem to hang out more at the back side of the room, maybe because that's where the entrance to the dressing room is. They're open until 4am (at least on weekend).

The menu on the table shows 2 songs for $40 or $100/10 min VIP which you can get in 10/20/30 min increments. You pay at the bar before you start the dance. DJ will announce your dancer's name when time is up.

Most of the girls are Latina or African American. Most on the plus sized side. I was approached by a white girl that was decent looking, and packing a few extra pounds (big naturals and lots of cake). Was her first day at Play Pen although sounded like she had danced a lot on the west side and valley before. We talked a bit before I decided to get a regular dance. She got nude for the dance and gave decent mileage. Went back to my seat, and a thin Persian or middle eastern looking girl approached. She looked pretty young, was thin with nice natural boobs and a big tight ass. We went straight to the 2 for $40. Her body was really nice to feel, and she gave mid-mileage. I'm not totally sure I'll be back soon, but I know who to look for if I do and I may even see what the VIP is all about, although it's pretty expensive.
