Good dependable working class bar that stays open late

Gatsby's North is a working class bar up near the Amazon Warehouse in Akron. It's across the street from where the old Ace of Spade's used to be. The parking lot is pretty beat up but its a relatively quiet and safe space to park tucked in away of an abandoned building. One word to note is you have to look somewhat respectable before walking in the establishment or you will be ordered out. Also I dont believe hey take in anyone after 130 AM.

It has a nice horseshoe shaped bar where the main focus is on the girls but also the sports screens. So a pretty decent place to watch sports with all of those screens. The bathroom is fairly clean and there is also nice space to smoke outside if you wish. The bartender was pretty hot brunette but she mentioned that she was only here to bartend and did not do dances. There are some nice arcade games, smash buttons and time wasters. Beers are cheap, you can get a nice glass of wine for about 6$.

As for the girls were a decent mix or ethnic and white, more were on the skinnier side. Most will stick to the regulars so you have to be proactive. Comment, be friendly, offer to buy drinks, make eye contact but it is hit or miss esp if a lot of their regulars are their, they will flock to them first. Also know this is a business. When I was there a guy refused to pay for a dance he just got. The bouncer was not happy and said you either pay the 30 bucks or me and from the bar or you are not welcome back to the bar, the guy just walked out. Make sure to discuss things before the dances if possible and then pay afterwards to avoid those types of interactions or even banishment. This is more of a hangout and get some dances bar more than anything else. Also good to bring some friends, hang out and watch the game.
