December afternoon at BTs

Dropped into BTs around 2pm on my last day in Detroit. I parked across the street in a public lot so I didn't have to pay the valet parking fee and there was no cover. I grabbed a table right near the stage to watch the show and scope out the talent. A cute brunette waitress who I'd love to see on stage brought me a bottle of water for $8.

The club is one large square-ish room. The bar occupies the right hand wall as you enter. The main stage with two poles parallels the bar Small tables flank the stage to left and right and booths are along the other walls. Not sure whether they charge for the booths during the day. There are two more poles on the far left that weren't in use on a weekday afternoon. TV screens usually showing sports line the room so if you squint you can imagine you're in a sports bar, especially on days when the waitresses are wearing Lions jerseys.

But it's better than a sports bar because there are scantily clad women walking around and "dancing" on stage. It wasn't busy - just a handful of guys sitting at the bar and maybe one booth occupied - so there weren't that many dancers circulating. They trickled out as they got called to stage and eventually I counted more than a dozen. When I arrived it was one dancer at a time on stage but soon they switched to two. They're supposed to be topless after one song but song girls didn't bother removing their tops and it didn't seem like they enforced that rule like on night shift.
