The Bare continues to disappoint

Note to self: Remember never to go to a strip club on December 25. My friend and I should have known better but we were dropping a third friend off at LAX and we were so close that it momentarily seemed like a good idea. Got there around 10 PM and there were very few ladies to pick from. They said there were six but I only saw three at any one time and we kept seeing the same dancer taking the stage. By this point, we'd spent $10 to park and each of us had paid $20 admission and $10 for a non-alcoholic beverage. I would ordinarily have gotten in on a pass as I have dozens. Unfortunately, they were all at home and when I left there, I didn't think we'd wind up at the Bare.

Only one of the dancers I saw was of even the slightest interest to me and my friend only liked one, a different one. Unfortunately, those two ladies all seemed too occupied with other customers to come anywhere near us.

The club was decorated for Xmas and that seemed to contribute to the bad mood. Everyone, be they customer or dancer, seemed to have that look that said, "What am I doing in this place on Christmas?" The one dancer I talked to came over, took a seat and said, "Tell me a story or something to get my mind off the fact that I'm here on Christmas." I took her back for a couple of unremarkable dances. Neither of us were really into it. You know you're having a bad time in the lap dance room when you find yourself not caring where or even if either of you touch each other. My friend didn't even get a dance.
