sinclair's Review
I went to Bar TD Richelieu on a Friday night at midnight. The strip club is a small building on the southeast corner of the intersection of Route 112 and Route 133. It is only about 1,800 square feet and feels like a dive bar. There was no cover charge to get in. The only staff member seemed to be the bartender. The bar is on the left wall. Sincweisers were $8 per bottle. This strip club carries beer from both distributors, Anheuser-Busch InBev and Molson Coors, which is not common. In Quebec, it is more common for bars and restaurants to offer beers from just one of the two distributors. Private dances take place in booths on the right wall. Each booth has a chair with its back to the wall and a curtain door. There is an island stage with two poles in the middle of the floorplan, but the entire time I was inside, no dancers performed. Music is played off of a TouchTunes jukebox. There are video slot machines on the back wall.
There were six dancers working on Friday night. All of them were overweight. One dancer looked to be well over three hundred pounds! All of the dancers were at least in their mid-thirties. There is no young meat at this venue. One dancer I talked to was Sandy. She was forty-eight years old and had been Miss Nude Toronto in the mid-1990’s. When I turned her down for private dances, she went full psycho on me.
Private dances are $20 per song. There is a sign inside the club in French saying “no contact”, but you can get anything you want here. You can touch dancers all over and get any extras your heart desires. This place is all about pole riding rather than pole dancing.
