Satisfied at Old Glory Daze

It used to be that almost every good sized city had a run down neighborhood bar in a declining area that saved itself from bankruptcy by becoming a sleazy strip cub. Most of these are gone, victims of urban renovation and moral crusaders. There are still a few cities around where these bars can be found though, and Akron, Ohio is one. In Akron these bars are Old Glory Daze, Lusty Adventures, G Spot and Lucky Corner. The first three are only a few minutes from each other, so if nothing is happening at one, it is easy to get to another. Occasionally I get close to Akron on business, truth be told more often than I would like, and I try to hit up one of these places.

This time I hit on Old Glory Daze. They fit the definition of a dive bar and, while they have dancers, most of the dancing takes place at the bar side, and can be very high mileage, although not as high as in the past, where everything from hand jobs to blow jobs to (rarely) full service could be had at the bar. Occasionally the bartender, usually an ex-dancer, would indulge a customer. Now it is mostly light OTP at the bar-side, although sometimes a dancer will explore more deeply. There is a VIP area for good fun.

There was no cover charge and my beer cost Four bucks, I think, change for the Five and tip got all mixed up. Anyway, not expensive.
