Chill Afternoon Visit

Visited DV while running errands on a Saturday afternoon. Figured I earned some time to relax and enjoy some eye candy. The place can sneak up fast on you as you speed up 611, so keep your eyes peeled for the sign on your right. There was plenty of parking at around 3 in the afternoon and the place wasn't busy but wasn't dead either. The inside is mostly the same since I had been a couple of years ago, big rectangular bar with 2 stages in the middle and an aerial hoop between them. They are doing some different things with the back area, did I see a third stage back there? I think so, but nobody danced at it on my visit. More lounge like back there now with additional TVs.

During peak hours they will have a dancer at each of the 2 bar stages, but when I was there it was just one dancer doing 2 songs, first starting at the stage furthest from the entrance and moving to the 2nd. The quality is pretty good at DV, IMHO, but it's also pretty tame. Much more of a place to chill and have a beverage with attractive dancers than a party. You tip after each dancer's 2 song set when they walk the inside of the bar. Not very expensive, you can do this for a long time without spending much. The hustle is very low here, in an hour hanging out, not a single performer asked for a dance or sat down next to me to engage. So, if you want dances, you have to be proactive.

I did partake in a dance with one dancer I thought was particularly cute, I had to ask her to stop back after her tip rounds. Prices are $20 per song in the basement where there are a series of booths. We went to the back booth, it was semi-private and I could see some potential in the level of seclusion, but I don't believe that to be the style here. We did 2 dances, where there was some touching above the waist and a little dirty chat. Not much to write home about, but not terrible. 2 dances and a tip set me back $60 and I called it a day after that. Again, being a place to just chill, I felt it was a solid visit, but if you are looking for more excitement, you may be disappointed.
