Not a lot of business at this boardroom

Was in New England on business in the fall. This used to be a standard stop since it’s not too far from Route 128. It used to have a great balance between class and mileage like a national chain club. This visit was a total shock. Outside is pretty much same, lots of free parking in the strip mall area. You go inside, pay cover, and the layout is pretty much same as before. Seating area in front of a large stage with a bar at the back. What’s different? Quality has dropped a lot. This used to attract a lot of young spinners from colleges. This time, maybe there was 2-3 in that category. Meanwhile, PL demand was insane. Very few empty chairs on a Thursday. And everyone looked like they had money to spend. So, what happens? Dancers never ever circulated and everyone stuck to their regulars. There literally was only one dancer walking around asking for dances. Everyone else was either in the VIP under the stage with a regular or was at the bar getting the regular wound up. They did a special so asked a dancer coming off stage from the parade. She flatly said no and proceeded to go the bar. The dancers are not trying to make money unless they knew someone. VIP was almost always busy but only with dancers and regulars. So bottom line, if you didn’t already know someone, you were probably walking away with no dances. More or less, it’s just a regular bar for sugar daddies and their standard companions now. There is no dancer PL economy here. Lots of guys were just watching the game, totally giving up on any interaction with dancers. It’s not a bad thing, but it’s not what it used to be. Probably more of a really nice Cheers like regular hangout now vs a place for a wandering PL to hook up with a cute dancer.
