This was my 2nd stop on the COI tour. Goal was to hit up the big 3 but ran out of time. Guess I’ll have to go back now… purely for journalistic, and research purposes of course.

Rolled up at about 2pm. The Rino is in a strip mall, with plenty of free parking at the time I got there. There were about 20 cars directly in front of it, so I figured it was busy inside. But it wasn’t. Pretty dead actually. Cover was $12, or 13, can’t remember. Got the wand down from a cool, pleasant old dude in a tux. Had to be at least 70.

The club: Super dark at first until my eyes adjusted. Once they did, it had the familiar décor, and well maintained feel of any other RIno around the country. That’s a good thing I think. Music was too loud where the chairs were, but not as overwhelming at the bar. Little too much mumble rap for my liking, but whatever. Lots of chairs to one side, a 10ish seat bar in the back, and only one center stage that I saw. Skipping ahead a bit, there are two types of back VIP rooms. I did not go to the one with an actual door, but did make good use of the curtained booths. Plenty of room, comfy clean love seat, no cameras that I saw, and no one bugs you. Bouncer just tells you through the curtain when your time is up.
