Rest(ing)-a-bit: It's not dead, it's just "resting" ( apologies to John Cleese )
Stopped in on a whim on a Wednesday afternoon around 2 pm mainly because I was in the area with some slack time, but also to see what had become of the place since the crackdown/changes, etc.
I'll skip the description of the interior: if you're reading this you can scroll to read that: Nothing has changes, like at all, since the golf machine came in and replaced the private dance booths. For the new: What does remain is a chair in the corner, with a sheer curtain hung next to it, and it's open to the front. Now this "front" faces along the backside of the bar, but as Freddie Mercury said: "Mama, that's where the fun is" ).
Ordered a draft and sat along the side bar next to the naughty chair. Draft was $5 and I was glad to see they hadn't completely lost their minds and tried to nickle/dime everything to make up for lack of traffic. To be honest, it wasn't much different than a slow afternoon in the "before times", except of course no lucky frequent fliers making their way in/out of private dance booths. Sigh...
