Saturday Night at 5th Ave

Went around 9:30 after finding Ragtime closed... again. What is it with that place? If you're closed at 9:30 on a Saturday, when the fuck are you open?

At 5th Ave, the street was lined with parked cars, but I got lucky and found a spot right across the street. Neighborhood is a little sketchy, so I suggest parking close to the bar, even if you have to ride around a couple times. The place was busy. It’s very narrow but long from front to back. Two small stages with poles behind the bar, one about halfway back and the other all the way in the back by the lap dance booths. Those stages are never used. I'd guess there were 12-14 girls working and about the same number of customers. Three bartenders, one of which I believe is the lady who owns the place, so service was good.

The girls that night (all Brazilian) were better than what I'm used to at 5th. I don't know if they all got together for a makeup party or what, but most were better than average in the face department. That said, there was a whole range of body types. One was so huge I couldn't believe she fit on a barstool, or that the stool held her weight without falling apart. She had a nice personality though. She came around smiling and shaking that ass like it was the rear end of a Volkswagon. I gave her a few bucks for the effort but declined to buy her a drink.
