Something for everyone

Cheeks is one of a handful of strip clubs in the Dayton area. The closest clubs outside of Dayton are about an hour away in Columbus and across the Ohio river from Cincinnati in Kentucky.

I've been to Cheeks on several Friday evenings, usually between nine and one. The club is open until four but stops serving drinks a little after two. It's five dollars to get in before eight and ten dollars after. There's a sign on the door that says out and in will cost you another five dollars. You enter through a fairly sensitive metal detector. If it beeps, you'll be patted down. There's a door girl who takes your money and scans your ID.

Inside the club is very large, much larger than most of the clubs I've been at. There are two or three bartender stations, though only one is staffed before eight. There's a kitchen counter for food. There are two stages, one large stage with four poles and a hot tub/shower, and a small "practice" stage for baby strippers and sometimes customers to learn the art. Tables and chairs are scattered around. There are a couple of pool tables in one corner. TVs ring all the rooms, including the dance room.
