It was just OK
I stopped in at Blaze around 2PM. I'd been there once before and wasn't impressed but I wanted to give it another shot. I got a through pat down from the friendly security guy and went in. There was no cover charge. When I went in at the bar on the left a dancer was shaking her ass all by herself. I sat down beside her and ordered a Modelo for $6. We started talking and she introduced herself as Judo. She asked to dance and I got a few dances, decent grind but no stick shifting. Dances are $5 and I sent her on her way after 3. This club has a second bar downstairs so I went down to check it out. It's a smaller area and the bar seats were full. On the right were 2 curtained off areas that I assume were for VIP. No one ever asked me so I'm not sure. I found a seat at a table close to the bar. No one paid any attention to me for a while. Eventually a dancer named German came up and asked to dance. She did a great grind but again no stick shifting. We did 4 dances and I sent her on her way. I went back upstairs, got another beer and sat at one of the booths for a bit. Again, no one paid any attention to me.
I left after a little more than an hour. While everyone I spoke to was pleasant no one went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I don't know if it was because I'm a middle aged white guy (and the only one in the club) or because they didn't know me.
