Dead Sunday visit

Was driving through the area on a Sunday and decided to stop in for a break between the Dells and home. Thought there might be some activity since it was football, but when I arrived the parking lot was pretty empty. Went in and let my eyes adjust to the dark room, hit the bathroom and made my way to the bar and ordered a cheap beer that I think was like 5 bucks from a pretty bartender. As described elsewhere this is a typical rural bar with two sunken "stages" although I have only ever seen one working. There are some video slots in the back. It was shortly after noon and she said she hoped some dancers would be coming in soon so I sat back and watched the game.

Eventually a couple girls did arrive, but they popped into the bar area in their street clothes, said hi to the bartender, saw me nursing my beer and headed to the back where I figured they'd be getting ready. A half hour later and they still weren't out. I asked the bartender if someone would be out soon and she said yes. So I waited another 15 minutes and made my exit with a pocketful of money. My time is more valuable than sitting and waiting on someone who doesn't want to make any money.
