Monday/Tuesday HK Visit

Went to HK late September. Arrived at SAN, took uber to border. In a previous trip, i had the FMM form. This trip i took my chances and went without. Getting by was no issue, i think he only asked how long i was going to be staying. I have seen videos of the shuttle that takes you from border to HK, but I have never seen it parked where they say it is. Not sure if anyone has any tips actually getting a ride this way instead of taxi. Since I did not see the shuttle, i went to the line of Taxis, and was on my way to HK. When we arrived, i asked how much (with my limited spanish) and he was asking for 25 bucks!! We argued for a few and there was a lot of people behind us honking. I gave him 12 and left.

Did the pat down and bag check, checked in, asked for the guest wifi, and got the VIP card. In regards to the room, I wanted the double master suite room, unfortunately i had to settle for the master suite. With the VIP card, the stay on Mon/Tues was alot cheaper and was a huge upgrade from the deluxe double that i had stayed in on my prior visit (actually got to get some sleep at night).

Once I showered and headed down, and through another pat down and metal detector to get into the club. Unlike last trip, I found out that the as soon as you enter after the metal detector, there is a stand to the left where you provide the VIP card and the guy will give you a voucher to give to the bartenders for the free drink. Since it was Monday/Tuesday neither day was crazy packed as it was when I was last there on a Fri/Sat.
