What’s that smell?

I’ve been here a few times but my last visit was on a Thursday around 6:30 pm. Plenty of parking on both sides of the building. When I walked in they weren’t charging a cover yet so there was no one at the window to the right. I walk right in and up to the bar that’s at the middle of the place. There’s a newer area they opened up when you walk in to the left with a pole and some seating but I’ve never seen it used. Maybe later at night that area sees more people. The men’s bathrooms in the back were also ‘renovated’ so there’s no urinals anymore…just this weird trough thing…makes peeing kinda awkward. The main stage is to the right of the bar and still had a rotation of girls dancing even though it wasn’t that busy. There were maybe 8-10 girls that day but only like two other customers. All Spanish girls of varying thickness so if that’s not your cup of tea you might want to skip this place. Lots of TVs around with ESPN and stuff on if the girl dancing isn’t to your liking and you need something else to watch.

I sit at the bar across from the stage and order a beer. $6 for a Modelo. I’m mostly a beer drinker so I don’t know what mixed drinks run here. After a little while a Cuban girl comes and sits next to me. I’m horrible with names but she had a cute face and shoulder length black hair. Chest was maybe small Bs but she had a big ole booty (which is definitely my thing). She said she was 23 but looked a little younger, maybe 19-21.

We talked for a little while as I had a couple beers. BTW, if you don’t speak Spanish you might have a difficult time here. It seems to be the default, but luckily I do. She asks if I want to go back for a dance so I agree. $20 for the room, $20 per dance.

The booths in the back are small with like a stringy curtain, as if a beaded curtain had all the beads stripped off, so not much privacy. But there was nobody there so it didn’t really matter. Very weird smell back there too, pretty off-putting. Like cheese or seafood that’s about to turn. Pretty gross. She starts to dance on me and asks if I’m interested in anything more. That’s not really my thing, but, for science, I ask how much. She responds with $200! If I was into it I probably could have negotiated but again, not my thing, and between the smell back there and that high a quote, I politely decline.

This place has potential, but for now it’s really only good if you speak Spanish and want to slum it for a sure thing.
