Wednesday’s Child Is Full Of Woe

When I buy something, I have certain expectancies of consistency. Many years ago, DJV here use to be really consistent. Now, it’s like someone messing with Psilocybin Mushrooms. So why do I go? It’s all we have here in Colorado Springs that is all naked. I do get up to Denver very VERY occasionally, but not in a while where I can explain a few extra hours. Many of you brethren PLs know what I mean.

As I went in at 7:30, several chubby girls were sitting by the front entrance on a bench on cell phones. They looked bored, and I can see why, at best 5 out of 10. Hours 7PM to 4PM (I think – beyond my bedtime.) Guy at the cash register checks/no scan, takes a $10 cover + $12 (mandatory) bottomless drink (that’s a lot of fountain soda or water.) Call entry in at 22 Scuds.

And, there was no waitress service, and the “bar” thing over on the left wall (east) you walk up to and wait for someone to come over to get you a drink if you are lucky. Sometimes there has been a waitress (weekends), this time no. I just skipped the drink. BTW, I won’t drink when I do a SC as I don’t want to risk being pulled over for something minor and getting a ticket. Just isn’t worth it to me.
