A lovely afternoon
Ricks is always a great place to fill time in midtown Manhattan. And it always ends up better than I expected. First the basics - its happy hour everyday until 8pm, with no cover and drinks for $8. A good deal for Manhattan. Everyone is friendly and the place is upscale. I took my place at the bar. A lovely black woman approached me. After a bit of a chat we moved to the large chairs and had a great conversation, with her luscious body in my lap. There was no rush and life seemed pretty good. Eventually, it only seemed right to suggest a couple lap dances, which we did - two for $20 each. While it’s still all one way, as far as I cloud tell — I didn’t try further. But mileage seemed to have improved since I was there last, as she ground her knee into me. But the songs were short and it was impossible to hear when one stopped and the next started.
Then back to the bar, and the whole experience repeated itself. Another beautiful black woman approached me with a lovely hand on my leg. We went back to the floor, and she also had a lovely conversation that wasn’t rushed. I suggested a couple dances, with some very pleasant grinding.
Only one gripe. I ordered a glass of wine and one of the dancers ordered a mojito. When the bill came, they were each $25! The bartender said I should have ordered the house wine. Lesson learned. But it was all worth it thanks to two charming dancers.
