Steep price increase at Rhino

This is not a typical club review.

Rhino is without question my favorite club in LV, but they recently increased all of their prices prior to Formula 1 hitting Las Vegas in November. Yes, they increased the price of a beer $1, but they increased the hourly rate for girls from $500/hour to $600/hour and increased the required alcohol purchase to $260 (or $280). If you do one of the larger vip rooms, they increased the cost of their cheapest bottle from $500 to $580 and you now pay $700/hour for the girl. Pay the girl by credit card and you can add on 15% surcharge plus the gratuity for your host. Compared to Sapphire, it is much cheaper, but it’s by no means a cheap night out. Fortunately, when you buy the $580 bottle, that gives you that private vip room for as long as you want. At Sapphire, you have to buy a bottle every hour. When you do the smaller little vip rooms at Rhino, you have to pay for the alcohol every hour, so if you plan on spending more than two hours with your girl in a room, you are better off buying the bottle once and having the larger room for the night. I have been told that the management at Rhino raised the rates for the girls because they feared losing their best girls to Sapphire right before the big race since Sapphire allows their girls to charge twice as much more per hour. For the people that have the money to come to Las Vegas for Formula 1 or the Super Bowl in February, they won’t care about the increased prices during the few days they are in town for these two huge events, but it will be interesting to see how these new prices impact business immediately after the race and after the Super Bowl. I share this info for those that plan to hit Las Vegas so you know what to expect.
