Glad I Finally Went, Probably Wouldn't Again
I was driving back home to Boston after some business in Maine and wasn't too tired around 1130 when I was driving down Rt 1. Had to use the bathroom so figured why not check out The Cabaret. Despite living in the area over a decade and driving by it a million times I'd never actually been inside.
$10 cover, quick ID check and I was in. It was busier than I expect it to be after Midnight by the time I was in there (they close at 1am) but not packed. One old school stage (with a glitter curtain the girls enter the stage via, which was a nice tough, like a weird Muppet Show), T shaped with two girls on stage. Fully naked, but not really...dancing so much as kind of just talking to the few people at the rail and rocking. Average Latinas who didn't do anything for me.
Used the bathroom with was clean. The whole place is surprisingly brightly lit. It also feels like a lower tier sports bar more than a strip club. Probably three clumps of patrons at the stage (2-3 people each, couple of male/female couples), two or three sad looking younger white dudes at the bar alone and a couple of clumps of hispanic guys at the bar as well. Very tatted up bartender who was perfectly nice. Got a seltzer ($8 which was kind of steep) and sat and took a lay of the land.
