Exploratory visit

Was curious about the spot so I decided to stop in. As always parking is tough in this area. I parked about 2 blocks away and walked through the residential area to get to the Bar. I arrived around 11 pm and was greeted by a bouncer who let me in after a quick pat down.

This is an African American bar, the bouncers, bar tenders, and dancers are all black. I walked in to the first floor bar, that is closed in the evening. All the party happens upstairs at night. The upstairs bar is small, there were a few dancers twerking in the center, and a few others giving table side dances around the bar.

The place is small, and almost all the bar side seating was taken. After walking around I was able to find a stool to sit on. It took a while to get the bar tenders attention, so that I could get my $7 beer. Which turned to $10 when the bar tender never returned with my change, I guess I’ll call it a tip.
