No alcohol

It had been a while since I went to Wax, so I wanted to check it out. Got there early evening, parked and went inside for the security pat down. I showed the security guy my ID and he said no need...didn't bother looking at it. I thought that was weird. Anyway, after the pat down I went to pay the cover charge, and as I was paying, the door guy said they are no longer serving alcohol! I was like what! He explained that they're having some issues with the liquor license...and he thinks they will get it back in a couple of weeks (but I don't know about that...these things are usually hard to get).

As I walked in, I noticed the crowd was fewer....fewer girls and fewer patrons. The mood in general was a bit down, to be honest. I ordered a water from the bar, walked around a bit...didn't see any girls I wanted to get dances from. After about 10 minutes, I left.

Not sure how long it will take them to get their license back, but I really hope the club doesn't end up shutting down. It would be a pity, after losing Follies...and now possibly this. Let's see how it goes.
