Much better than several other SCs I visited but nothing great either.
I stopped in to DejaVu several (3-4) evenings during my last Vegas trip in June. I think I went on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. There wasn’t much difference in my experience any night so I just use one review to summarize the visits. My experience at DV wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. (My only good experience as at Chicas, he only club I thought was still good. Every other SC I visited in Vegas (about 6 all told) has gone down hill dramatically in the last 5-6 years.) DV is nicely furnished and clean so it wasn’t a bad location to hang out. The only thing I though was a bit downscale was that the entrance is from the side parking lot (across from the “erotic museum” (same ownership) which I did not visit. The big fancy entrance on the street isn’t used – I almost left the first time, thinking it hadn’t opened for the evening yet.
When I was there, happy hour drink prices (until about 7 or 8 pm) were pretty decent. It wasn’t far from where I was staying so it became my stop to stop for a few beers or drinks before heading home.) And admission was free (normally $5 at that time of day) with free coupons available around town and in the men’s room of DV.
The dancers were so-so, a few 6-7s but more 5-6s – a bit older and a bit heavier than ideal. Quoted prices for dances varied, seemed to start about $40/dance (much higher and out of my price budget) for 15, 30 minutes and longer. When I declined at $40, a couple of dancers went to $30 (one went to $20) for dances on the floor in a quiet area. There weren’t many customers that time of day. Decent but not great mileage. At $40, they would have been overpriced taking the mileage into account. It was the end of the afternoon shift and a few dancers seemed willing to negotiate to make a few bucks before they finished out.
