This Place is So Raven
My last visit to Flashdancers in March was very satisfying so when I found myself in the city again, I thought about testing other clubs. Ultimately I decided against the gamble and went to what I knew to be a good time with very hot dancers. I wasn't disappointed.
The club is west of Times Square, appropriately right next to the theater showing the Moulin Rouge musical. I went in and there's a front desk where they asked for the $10 cover (came in around 7pm). I used a pass I had for no cover and a free drink. Checked my bag for $3 and stopped by the bar for a jack and coke. While you're at the bar, there are three mini stages where 8-10s hotties were topless, stepping side to side. I got my drink and talked to an absolute knock-out Brazilian with beautiful man-mades and asked her to come find me when she was done with that rotation.
I leave the bar to enter the main room with the stage. It's a small stage so only 1-2 dancers are up there at a time. This isn't a place for acrobatic pole dancing and while you can sit close to the stage, there really isn't a rail where you tip. Around the stage are a few tables with chairs and then lining the perimeter of the room are couches and bigger, high back chairs for lap dances. This is mainly a lapdance and VIP club. You sit down and the ladies come up to you and entice you for a dance. Dances are $20 per song - they will wait until the song starts and I didn't experience any dancers trying to give me a different song count. I will say that ALL of the dancers I encountered here without exception were friendly, seductive and tried to make conversation despite varying levels of English ability. For sure, they want you to take them to the 50-minute VIP (this is the shortest session) for $800, but they're not whiny and angry when you decline.
