Dianne, elle est folle
This place was completely surreal. I made a detour here on my way back from Montreal, and found myself driving on foggy roads with farm land on either side for, perhaps, 20 minutes. Nothing else seemed open nearby, so it is one of these Quebec venues that doubles as a strip club and and the only open bar for locals. This place is a complete a dive. I had visited Bar Le Gentlemen earlier in the evening and the two places couldn't be more different despite both being the only night life in their respective areas.
The space is pretty small. There was an unused stage+pole, a back room with video games and various types of seating in the bar area. The lapdance area is down a hallway behind the stage and is in individual booths with curtains.
While the club is very close to the border, not all of the staff communicated in English. The bouncer just pointed at a sign that indicated $5 CAD for entry. The Quebec French accent is a bit weird. I found that ordering drinks with a full sentence instead of just using the French noun was very helpful. The dancer who I ultimately got dances from had very little English,, and a French accent that was neither Quebec nor of any part of France that I've visited. If I had to bet, I'd guess it was Haitian. All this being said, I think you would do fine here without any French at all, but it will be more of a struggle than you'd expect in, say, Montreal. Also, the locals were friendly. I spent quite a while having a nice what with a couple that were just there for drinks.
