Club Rouge vibes

Club Rouge has become my favorite club in the city, that’s not saying a lot being that the vast majority of Portland strip clubs have gone downhill over the last few years (more to come on that). There are brand new food carts right next to Rouge, so if you want to eat before or after the club, that could be a option.

Club Rouge is downtown, so there is not a parking lot for Rouge. You either have to do street parking or do a paid parking lot or paid parking garage. During weeknights street parking is not hard to find. On the weekends street parking is harder to find. Rouge opens at 5 pm and closes at 2:30am. Cover is 10 bucks Tuesday through Saturday, cover is 5 bucks Sunday and Monday. That’s right, if you come in at 5:30 on a Tuesday and it’s dead inside, you still have to pay 10 bucks to get in. The bouncers do the pat down and ID check.

You walk inside and it’s a pretty good sized club, it’s like a extremely long hallway. To the right of you are three mini-stage like setups, that’s where the minor strippers hang out, because they can’t be out on the floor. Also to the right of you is one of the VIP seating areas for a group (like for a bachelor party or something). I know it costs at least $100 to sit in that seating. Also to the right of you are seats where you can sit down. To the left of you is more seating and another VIP seating area for groups. If you keep walking down, the restrooms are on the left. Rouge has five or six restrooms, so that’s nice.
