It Only Takes One

I made a recent Saturday afternoon visit to Christie’s Cabaret. I arrived around 3pm, plenty of parking available.

No security up front during the daytime, so no ID check, pat down or wand. Door girl upon entering the club and a $7 cover charge. It’s still the only club in town that I’m aware of that charges a daytime cover charge. I guess it does keep the neighborhood rif-raf out though as it is in a bit of a sketchy area of town.

The club itself has been described many times over so I won’t go into too much detail. Aesthetically speaking though, it’s still one of the nicest club in town, if that matters to you. DJ booth and bar to the right as you walk in, big stage with pole in the middle of the room, tables and chairs around the stage, VIP areas on the west side of the club.
