The Local Hangout

I found myself here at happy hour when the weather cancelled my other plans. There was no cover just before 5pm. Everyone was hanging out at the bar. I saw about 6 ladies and maybe 8 customers. Nobody was on stage. This is a fairly small club with a couple of high tops and a dozen tables in front of one stage area. The open lap area is in the back and has some glass panels facing the bar. There is no real privacy.

It was not a great first impression but I didn't want go out in the rain. The average dancer was her late 30's and like 160 lbs. Right at 5pm about 6 more dancers arrived. Again, no stunners. Mostly white, one AA, and 2 latinas. About half had implants. I have to say the vibe was friendly. I chatted with 5-6 girls. No Cubans! A Romanian and a younger lady from Puerto Rico. Laps were topless and ran $20. Half were high mileage with 2 way touching.

I was drinking mixed drinks at about $8. The DJ started calling for stage dancers just after 5pm. This only lasted about 30 minutes. It seems like he got busy trying to troubleshoot a problem with the cash register. The bartender also doubled as a waitress so it was not a surprise that she threw away my first drink while I was getting a dance. To her credit, she poured me another without charge.
