All it’s cracked up to be?
Had a little time to kill before a flight home from a work trip and decided to go see what all the fuss is about with this place. Long story short is that most of what you read about it is true.
Arrived early afternoon on a Tuesday. Parked myself in the back lot (valet available but not mandatory unlike many of the clubs where I’m from). Walked in and greeted by a friendly hostess who simply asked for the $3 cover charge (no ID checking, let alone scanning, also better than clubs I’m used to).
You walk in and there really is this “aha” moment of almost overwhelming size and number of topless women. I’ve never seen anything like it, especially early on a Tuesday. Went up to the famous second floor bar, got a ~$4 Coors light and started taking in the scenery below. Brightly lit, open air main floor with 4 or 5 small “stages” each with a topless girl. They don’t really “dance” so much as slowly move around into sexy poses, almost like advertising themselves which I found pretty hot. A blend of ethnicities, body types and ages, with the largest portion being Cuban (I assume). Got approached by a couple different ladies to chat and ask for a dance, all were very friendly even when turned down. I did not have the time to go that far, and moreso wanted to relax with a beer and some eye candy. This place delivered on that big time. Will absolutely be back next time I’m in town and hopefully have more time to really sample the other offerings.
