Good experience from an out-of-towner

I was in town for business and spent a night at the Penthouse. It is a very nice venue in a seedy part of town. There is a homeless shelter across the street, and it is right next to a highway overpass with a bunch of junkies ... That doesn't bother me but might deter some folks.

Inside there is nice sectioning. A bar next two a decent sized-one pole stage. There are tables with a smaller stage, a roped off area for the bottle crowd, etc.

I got in around 10:30PM. Cover was $20. My drinks were reasonably priced for a nicer/large venue -- less than $10 for a bottled water. A top shelf G&T was less than $15.
