Where locals and the future collide….

I brought my kids bike down to him at IU Friday evening and decided to check out this club on a whim. I have fond memories of the club in my college town and thought I’d give it a whirl. I got there around 8p. There’s a pretty small parking lot in front of the club, which is on a stretch of road that is sparsely lined with strip malls. Seems pretty safe. I walked in it was surprisingly bright. Bar is all the way to the back of the club, a two pole stage is in the center with chairs and tables around it. Bathrooms to the left and vip room to the right tucked behind the DJ booth. A pool table is also to the right.

I walked up the the bar and a decent looking bartender took my 7 dollar cover and asked what I wanted to drink for my one drink minimum. Another 7 bucks for a gin and tonic.

I sat at the bar alongside an older gent and a 20-something who was chatting up the only two dancers. After about 5 min the DJ called up the first girl to the stage. I’d rate her a 7. The other girl was a 5. After the first song I sat at the stage, tipped her, got the requisite boobs-I’m-face and asked her to come sit with me and tell me about the dance menu.
