Players Club feels like a neighborhood bar with a fickle personality and strippers. The vibe varies a lot mostly be the time of day but also just random. Drink prices are high - just like the city and like any other place. There's sometimes a buffet. I've never had it and cannot comment. There's often specials that aren't really all that special. The music is a touch loud (always is) but there isn't a annoying speaker spewing the typical nonsense. Cover (seems to vary) in the evenings. Afternoons are cover free. The sweet spot for me is from 3-5p on weekdays (but not Mondays).

If you go too early - before 2 - it's usually dead. Too many less attractive dancers pursuing too few customers meaning an unwanted dancer might attach herself to you. I have to be aggressive in shaking them which seems like it makes bad karma for the rest of the visit.

The 5-7 time is too crowded. Good luck getting a good seat especially with some space. There are more dancers/patrons than the private area can service. That means it can be hard to get a dance at all - especially a good one. One good thing is that all the stages are active. Good for those who just want a drink and stage visits. Wait to choose the stage until after seeing where the dancers go. There's a lot of variation in the dancers age, body type, and ethnicity, so make sure you choose the dancer - not the stage I don't like leaving a stage before the dancer comes around at least once - bad karma once again.
