I rarely go to strip clubs anymore and Johnny A's was my Plan G or H for the day. In hindsight I should gone to the golf course or taken a road trip. My Plan A-F were to see some girls I knew at thier place, parlors, or my place like I typically do, but it was labor day weekend and my options were busy. I needed to release the poison and didnt feel like going to some hole in the wall club where I would get high mileage but leave feeling like I needed to be hosed down.

. Place has probably been reviewed 100s of times with respect to location but its in an industrial area that is slowly turning more residential like most places in NJ. The faux luxury apartment compelx is finally leasing next door. Im sure the club will provide great scenery for the new residents. I get there around 12:20 which is 20 minutes after opening. Most clubs arriving 20 minutes after opening will mean you might arrive to the oldest dancer and the barmaid arranging everything but not Johnny's. The place usually fills up with regulars right after opening and if you arrive at 1 pm you might have trouble finding a seat. The club arrangement is horeshoe on one level with caferteria style seating around a bottom stage. Dancers migrate from stage to stage shimmying for thier 20 minute set. Clientele is usually salt and peppered mid 60s construction type guys looking to flex in front of each other. The dancers are mostly latina. Predominantly brazilian with some dominican and venezuelan. Age range from 22-38 with most falling on the lower side. The club used to be silicone valley but glad to see more natural bodies are in style. You rarely see a girl who looks like she had her body done in a colombian chop shop but there is 1 every day. Drinks are 6-10 dollars.

My visit was fairly typical. Its a regular bar to the extreme with some guys sitting in the same exact seat you saw them in a year ago which makes for a sobering experience. Visit on any day and there will be a guy on the opposite side of the stage from the entrance known as Mr. McTwirly. About 70 years old and makes every girl twirl for a dollar. Dollar parade is pretty heavy. Expect to drop 20 dollars every 40 minutes as the girls who come here are all business. This isnt a relaxed bar where girls come to make up for a slow week. Girls act like they arent going home until they make thier 2k or 3k for the day.
