A haven on the block

This is generally one of most active block clubs, and along with the sister-club downstairs (Bottoms Up), it will sometimes have a full complement of dancers when the other clubs are slow. Almost all AA, good quality girls and a size for everyone. I'm white and the girls and managers have always been welcoming. The club itself isn't much to speak of, pretty much a dive bar and not a "gentleman's club" layout, just a bar with stools and a stage behind the bar. The girls are happy to do some dances on you while you sit at the bar, and what you can get away with here depends on the girl. But definitely way more contact and interaction at the bar than in most other non-block clubs. It's a bit of a ghetto vibe, as is the whole block, so you have to be up for that. I do not recommend getting shots or mixed drinks here, I don't trust the alcohol, from personal experience and stories from dancers. Stick to beer. There are VIP rooms available, at $180 for half an hour (to the club; the dancer expects a tip on top of that), which is cheaper than most clubs on the block. It seems pretty much anything goes.

Daytime on the weekend can be a decent turnout, especially if the downstairs club is closed, and all the girls have congregated at Chez Joey. At around 8ish, it can be dead at these block clubs, as the day shift girls are leaving, and the night shift girls haven't quite arrived yet. Then at 11 it's jam packed. Not everyone feels comfortable on Baltimore street, at times it feels a little lawless, but there is definitely fun to be had.
