Friendly Girls & Locals
I can see why the Red Wing locals love Sugars. It’s not your typical club, more of a neighborhood bar that has naked women.
When I arrived at Sugars on a Sunday evening I was ready to be let down. It doesn’t look like much from the outside and isn’t much better on the inside.
As I walked in the front door there were a few people posted in the bar area. Drinks were stiff and cheap, especially if you are used to Minneapolis prices.
Turns out this place is pretty chill! The women are approachable and don’t pressure you. One dancer was sitting at the bar eating dinner before her shift, chatting it up with the people sitting at the bar.
The dance area is pretty small. Girls pick their own songs on touch tunes. There’s a lap dance area in the corner with a few chairs but it’s open and visible to everyone.
I was one of maybe 6 guys and 4 dancers that night. We all laughed at the awkwardness of the stage dances considering it was almost an empty room.
Most of my time was spent in the “VIP room”…if you can call it that. It’s basically an open closet around a corner with a small bench. It was $150 for 15 minutes or 300 for $15.
I connected with a beautiful dancer so went back a few times. She allowed touching. There’s a camera but nobody is coming back to watch you. The bouncer yelled down the hallway to let us know time was up.
However, for some reason they have a second bench in this tiny area. Which means you may become friendly with another gentleman and dancer if they decide to do a private dance at the same time…which is did. Just weird.
Overall, Sugars is a cool place. No frills but good people and friendly girls. I’d definitely stop by again while in the area.
