Worth a Detour
Stopped at Bonkers for the first time in a while. Still no cover charge and the large bar is by the entrance with an elevated stage to the left if you come in the front door. The stage is about three feet off the floor and features a pole that goes up more than 12 feet in the air above the stage. There are plenty of tables and chairs surrounding the stage if you don't want to sit at the bar. Drink prices are reasonable.
They have made some changes. The VIP rooms are no longer upstairs; apparently a customer fell down the steps. They built two new rooms in the area where the pool table and gambling machines were. The rooms are surprisingly spacious with a chair and a sofa and have a wooden door. The dancer can connect their phone to a separate audio system in the room so they can play their own music - not always a good thing. Dances went up a bit and are now three for $120. You can also do $160 for 15 minutes, $180 for 30 minutes, or $300 for 60 minutes in a booth with no door. For an extra $100 you can upgrade to a private VIP room.
The number of dancers varies greatly, one night they'll have a dozen, the next night it'll be 20+. Generally some AA dancers from Milwaukee mixed with girls from Green Bay and the Fox Valley. Going later in the week generally ensures a larger number to chose from. All colors, shapes, and sizes are usually available and fun can definitely be had with most of the girls in the VIP. If the lineup isn't to your liking come back a day or two later and probably will. I've seen, and spent time with, some very hot dancers here. Worth making the very short detour if you happen to be driving by on I-43.
