What a waste of time

I was back in New York for the weekend and decided that since I was not to far from this place and I had been there a while back, a long while back, that maybe I should take a look on my way back from a wonderful party night. Parking at this place is still a wonder, a few cars, maybe 6 in the tiny parking lot but I never park there anyway. Decided to park around the corner and my brother and myself walked in. $10 cover per person but now things begin to get interesting. As soon as we entered we should have left, seriously. You must buy 2 drinks when you enter, $18, with the option being water, redbull and ting. I got the water, but imagine $8 for a 16 oz bottle of water, SHM. I think in the past the total mandatory drink cost was $10 per person for 2 drinks. I forgot to mention that when we got in, I could count 5 guys in the place. That was the sign we should have paid attention too. All eyes on us from the 6 or 7 girls in there. As soon as we got past dreadfully overpaying for water, we were tagged. We went around the stage/bar in the center and two girls came in from both ends. We could not even get to our seat before we were intercepted. I literally could not get to my sit before being asked for a dance. I looked at the girl and said to myself, can I even get a sit before all this starts. I wanted to go urinate and she would not let me leave. My poor brother right next to me desperately was trying to get comfortable in his seat but with no luck. This one girl named Paris who sat next to me requested a dance like 10 in probably 20 seconds and despite turning her down and saying I was getting settled would not stop persisting. I was trying to watch the girl on stage who kind of caught my eye but Paris would just not let me enjoy that. My brother next to me resorted to buying the girl harassing him a drink for her to leave but that did not work. When we go to the clubs, we like to sit next to each other, settle down, watch for a few, have a chat, toss some money then proceed to grab a few dances after getting the lay of the land. We could do non of it during that visit and it was very annoying. I personally don't like disrespecting the girls or anyone but at the same time I want to feel comfortable and have my choices be respected but neither him nor me were getting that. Eventually after being asked about 30 times of so for a dance, I decided to just give in hoping that would turn this poor night around. I should have asked what the cost of the dances were because I found out at the end it was $25 per song. Yet a other rip off. To be honest, the quality of the girls and the shitty lap dance space cannot cost $25 per dance. It could be that Paris lied to me about the price but I would not follow up to ask anyone else. Making things more annoying is that she refused to give me my change after paying. In trying to be a nice allowed more than 1 dance, because I thought the price was $20 and ended paying way more because I had 5. Should I have had 5, no. I was just being stupid and too nice despite this same girl making me uncomfortable all night and refusing to let me enjoy the club the way I wanted too. When I got back to my seat or tried to get back to my seat in hopes of resetting this night, I was intercepted again with an offer for something I will not entertain. I could not make it to my seat. That was it. At this point I was getting really pissed off and said it's time to leave because this place is shitty as hell, dry and I will never come back here again. I am not paying my money to be harassed and made uncomfortable.
