Nice Early Saturday Afternoon Visit

I visited Paradise in City of Industry on Saturday afternoon August 12, 2023 from about 12:15 to 1:30 pm. The club is in a small strip mall in, as the city name implies, a commercial and industrial area. There is about 20 or so parking spaces in front of the club and I believe there are more behind the building. There is an adult shop next to the club. This club is part of the OneGC family of clubs in Southern California that includes the various Synn’s, Sahara and Imperial in Orange County, and others. The club opens at 11am and there was no cover before 1 pm. For some reason I was required to sign a list that showed when I entered, I was the 5th person to enter that day. A very light pat down and I entered the club.

The main room is basically square surrounding a square stage with two poles, ceilings low so not much scope for pole work. Four chairs at the tip rail an each side of the stage. On 3 sides of the stage are 2 rows of bench seating with occasional tables, the second row elevated a step or two above the first. On the fourth side was the juice bar. Some LED lights but not a huge amount, somewhat dark. In general the furniture and fixtures looked new. Across from the entrance are the restrooms, the men’s is spacious and clean. The entrance to the lap dance areas are at the other corner. I was quickly hit up for the required drink, $8 Voss water in a fancy (sealed) bottle. Like other clubs in the OneGC chain the waitress was constantly asking if I wanted to buy a dancer a drink, both just when sitting with one in the club and whenever we went to the lap dance area. I declined. I don’t pay much attention to music but they appeared not to play any rap which is fine with me.

The club website listed 10 dancers on the day shift, which seemed about right. About half a dozen customers so a good ratio. They only had a dancer on stage about half the time. Dancers got nude on stage. On the whole the dancers were mid-20’s and up, no real young ones. Generally decent looking. They were aggressive in approaching customers, you were never sitting alone for any length of time. They would come and sit close and lay their hands on your arms, legs, etc. Some conversation before a request for a dance.
