Atlantis Afternoon

Was in the area and had a few hours to kill early on a mid-week afternoon so stopped by an old standby, Cafe Atlantis, for the first time in a long time to find very little has changed - same DJ (used the same lines a few times and seemed to like country music which was a nice change), same layout (spacious with a big stage downstairs with lots of seating and Sports on a big screen and VIP upstairs) and some familiar dancers. There were a few long-time mature dancers that were noticeably absent and a few new-to-me attractive dancers. It was pretty quiet at first with more dancers and patrons coming in later in the afternoon. There were song breaks between most sets and beer was around $10($12 with tip). Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed my afternoon. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re in the area with time on your hands. I look forward to checking out other clubs in the area next time.
