Surprisingly good noon visit.

I had a pair of meetings that the Criket fell perfectly between. Even though it meant that I'd get there just after opening, I figured it would be more fun to sit there for 50 minutes instead of a random fast food joint.

For anyone who hasn't been there before or read another review, I'll give the building specifics. Even though the address is on Michigan Avenue, the parking lot entrance is off the street behind. There's no valet, but the lot is fenced off and I've never seen anyone loitering around to make me concerned about parking my car. The lot itself is well maintained which is more than can be said for some of the other clubs along the road.

When I walked in, there were two bouncers at the door having a conversation about a union strike. The didn't look like SAG members so I'm guessing UAW must be planning a strike? I don't follow these things. I asked if anyone was even there yet and one of them replied "You know how it is. They're here, but no clothes on." Excellent.
