Hit or miss for me

I’ve had a love hate relationship with this club over the years, so after a great couple of visits in January, I decided to give it another shot on a recent Tuesday night. Have to say I immediately realized I preferred the happy hour vibe of this club much more than the weeknight. On this night it wasn’t very crowded, and the was the usual large group of Cubans talking amongst themselves, occasionally shooting over looks of desperation to make $$.

I won’t go into layout of the club and all the dance / cost options, cause those are pretty well known at this point. But bottom line is, the quality of dancers is highest in the area, but vip is steep at 375.

I finally had one dark skinned Cuban come over who checked all the boxes for me, and held pretty good conversation. I already planned to spend the $ and do I vip, so agreed to start a negotiation. I talked her down to 325, so thought I was doing pretty well…. But things went a bit down hill from there.

For those who don’t know, when you do a private vip, the bouncer brings you back and gives you a quick lecture on what is “illegal”, and then the curtain closes and that lecture is quickly forgotten about. But on this occasion, the dancer started closely inspecting the overhead lights, looking for cameras or surveillance devices, which was unsettling. She then decided we needed to leave and go to another room, where she proceeded to do the same thing.

I guess her paranoia subsided, and she started with the process - but after that knew that this was not going to be the experience I was hoping for. She applied the cover and started the bj portion of the program, while trying to hide from the potential of a camera. Of course when I tried to get her to move things to the “next level” she refused and pointed to the sign on the wall saying that activity was against the rules, even though she had agreed to it earlier. Chalk this one up to a loss….
